United States passport photos
Printed passport: 2 × 2 inches
Paper passport applications use a 2 × 2 inch photo. Online renewal follows a separate digital upload process. Keep the original, unedited photograph and avoid filters or background replacement.
Applying for a US visa from another country? Use the visa application’s requirements, rather than your country of residence. A passport preset does not establish DS-160 compliance.
Official requirements ↗United Kingdom passport photos
Printed: 35 × 45 mm · Digital: at least 600 × 750 px
UK digital photos must be 50 KB to 10 MB and unaltered by software. For a photo taken on your own device, include your upper body and let the passport application service crop it.
Printed applications need two identical photos. PixPassVisa does not issue HM Passport Office photo codes. Check the original for lighting and framing before choosing a download.
Official requirements ↗Australia passport photos
35–40 mm wide × 45–50 mm high
Australian passport photos have a permitted size range, with the head measuring 32–36 mm from chin to crown. The Passport Office recommends an experienced photo provider. Retake unsuitable originals instead of digitally retouching them.
An on-screen check cannot confirm the final photographic paper or printing process. Our free Australian checker provides supplementary feedback; it does not approve a passport application.
Official requirements ↗Germany passport photos
Domestic passport and ID: digital capture workflow
German domestic passport and identity-document applications require the official digital photo submission workflow. Arrange capture through the authority or a participating photo provider. A downloadable JPEG or home print is not a substitute.
Consular applications and visas can follow different instructions. Check your appointment checklist. Residents of Germany applying for another country’s visa should choose that destination’s document requirements.
Official requirements ↗France passport photos
35 × 45 mm · approved capture provider
French passport and identity-card photos must be taken by an authorised professional or an approved booth. The face measures 32–36 mm. A generic online photo download does not replace this capture requirement.
Use the French-language guides to plan your next step. PixPassVisa does not issue an ANTS e-photo code. If you live in France and need a foreign visa photo, follow the destination’s separate application instructions.
Official requirements ↗Check first. Preview before you pay.
Standard photo download: $4.99. Optional expert manual edit: $6.99. Fixed local pricing, one-time payment.
Choose preparation only when your application permits the output. Downloads do not include physical prints, government photo codes or acceptance certification.
Before you choose a photo service
Should I select where I live or the country issuing my document?
Select the country issuing the passport or the destination issuing the visa. Your location may affect checkout currency, but it does not determine your document’s photo requirements.
Can I use the same photo for every country?
No. Capture methods, dimensions, editing rules and digital uploads vary by country and application. Check the original photograph and exact application instructions before buying.
What is free and what do I pay for?
Automated checking and previewing are free. Standard downloads cost US$4.99 and optional expert manual editing costs US$6.99 in USD. Other currencies use their displayed fixed local prices. Payment is one-time and does not guarantee acceptance.
