Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about using PixPassVisa for your US document photos.
What is PixPassVisa?
PixPassVisa is a free online photo validation tool that checks your photos against U.S. State Department requirements for visas, passports, green cards, and the DV lottery. You get an instant PASS/FAIL report, and can pay $4.99 to download a processed photo.
Is the photo validation really free?
Yes! Photo validation is 100% free with no account required. You only pay $4.99 if you choose to download a processed photo. You can validate unlimited photos at no cost.
How accurate is the validation?
Automated checks provide feedback on selected image measurements. They can miss issues and do not verify every application rule. The issuing authority decides whether to accept your photo.
How long does validation take?
Processing time depends on the image and service availability. Keep the page open while the photo is checked; review any retry message if processing does not complete.
Can I upload multiple photos?
You can validate unlimited photos for free. Each paid download covers 1 processed digital photo plus a A4 size print sheet (20 photos) for $4.99.
